THREE HEZBOLLAH OPERATIVES ELIMINATED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON STRIKE: The military says three Hezbollah operatives were killed yesterday in an Israeli strike in the Bint Jbeil area of southern Lebanon.
According to the IDF, the operatives were identified by the 91st “Galilee” Regional Division’s 869th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit and struck a short time later.
The 91st Division has been deployed to the eastern sector of southern Lebanon as part of the IDF’s enhanced forward defense posture following Hezbollah attacks on Israel earlier this month. The division has been focusing on dismantling Hezbollah anti-tank missile launch sites and eliminating members of the terror group’s elite Radwan Force in its area of operations.
❗️ LEAFLETS REPORTEDLY DROPPED IN BEIRUT CALL FOR ACTION AGAINST HEZBOLLAH: Lebanese media reports that the Israeli Air Force dropped leaflets in Beirut a short while ago calling on civilians to act against Hezbollah.
“If you want to be part of real change and contribute to the prosperity and defense of your country, we are here to listen,” the leaflets read.
The leaflets include the logo of the Military Intelligence Directorate’s Unit 504, which specializes in human intelligence.
HEZBOLLAH ROCKET FIRE HITS HOME IN WESTERN GALILEE; TWO LIGHTLY INJURED: Two people were lightly injured when a rocket struck a home in a community in the Western Galilee, according to medics.
Magen David Adom says it treated a 50-year-old woman in good condition who sustained a shrapnel injury and a 60-year-old man who was lightly hurt by the blast.
Several rockets were fired by Hezbollah from Lebanon in the attack.
