‼️ U.S. WARNING AND STRAIT OF HORMUZ SIGNALS: President Trump said Iran now has a chance to permanently abandon its nuclear ambitions and warned that if it does not, “we’re their worst nightmare… we’ll just keep blowing them away… there’s not a thing they can do about it.”
He also said Iran allowed 8 oil tankers, later increased to 10, flying Pakistani flags to transit the Strait of Hormuz as a “gift” following diplomatic contacts.
♟️ ISRAEL SHIFTS STRATEGY IN IRAN: The Wall Street Journal, citing informed sources, reported that Israeli officials believe President Trump may soon seek to end the war in Iran.
According to the report, Israel has moved away from attempts to destabilize the Iranian regime and is now concentrating on strikes against military and industrial infrastructure to inflict lasting damage before any possible halt in fighting.
The report said hopes of triggering an uprising inside Iran have faded, as U.S. and Israeli officials assess that the Iranian government remains firmly in control.
IDF officials told the Wall Street Journal: “Iran’s military capabilities cannot be eliminated in the current operation. Tehran’s ability to threaten Israel or American interests has declined. Israel will consider the operation in Iran a success, even if it ends now”.
DISAGREEMENTS BETWEEN ISRAEL AND WASHINGTON: Sources told The Israeli Broadcasting Authority that Israel is not satisfied with the U.S. proposal regarding Iran and that major differences remain over three of the 15 proposed clauses.
The reported disagreements concern Iran’s missile program, the transfer of enriched uranium out of Iran, and the easing of sanctions.
IRAN REJECTS TERMS BUT LEAVES DOOR OPEN: A senior Iranian official told Reuters that the U.S. proposal is “one-sided and unfair,” serving only U.S. and Israeli interests.
The same official said Iran’s initial response, conveyed through Pakistan, was that the proposal lacks the minimum requirements for success and that there is currently no arrangement for negotiations or realistic plan for talks at this stage.
Reuters also reported that Iran did not fully close the door, saying progress may still be possible if the U.S. becomes more realistic.
️ IRAN’S OFFICIAL RESPONSE AND CONDITIONS: Iranian media reported that Tehran officially delivered its response last night to Trump’s 15-clause proposal and is now awaiting an American reply.
Tasnim said Iran’s main conditions include a complete end to attacks and assassinations, guarantees that the war will not resume, compensation for all damage caused by the war, an end to fighting across all fronts including groups allied with Iran, and recognition of Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz as a “natural and legal right.”
An intelligence source told Tasnim: “We have declared that the crimes and terrorism by the enemy must end, real conditions must be created to prevent the renewal of the war, compensation must be received for the damages caused by the war, and the war must end on all fronts and among all resistance groups that took part in the battle. In addition, Iran’s right to control the Strait of Hormuz must be recognized.
However, Iran is certain that the U.S. claim of negotiations is merely a deception, and that the Americans are trying to achieve several goals: to mislead the world into thinking they are seeking peace and an end to the war; to keep the price of oil low; and third — to buy time in order to prepare for a new aggressive action in southern Iran involving a ground invasion.”
