IAF STRIKES IRANIAN WEAPONS PRODUCTION INFRASTRUCTURE: The Israeli Air Force carried out several waves of airstrikes in Iran over the past day, targeting dozens of weapon production facilities near Tehran and across central Iran.
According to the military, more than 60 fighter jets used over 150 munitions in the operation, which the IDF says was based on intelligence and focused on dismantling key weapons manufacturing sites.
PARCHIN AND ISFAHAN FACILITIES TARGETED: In the Parchin area east of Tehran, the IDF says it struck the Iranian regime’s most central facility for missile and defense systems production.
The military says the targets included a facility used to develop air defense systems, a plant for casting and filling warheads with explosives, a site for mixing and casting engines for ballistic missiles, and a facility producing critical components for solid-fuel ballistic missiles.
Overnight in Isfahan, the IDF says it also struck a production site belonging to the IRGC Quds Force and a military industry facility used to manufacture defense systems.
The military says the weapons and defense systems developed at the targeted sites were used by the Iranian regime and its terrorist proxies, foremost among them Hezbollah and the Houthis.
The IDF says it will continue expanding operations against the Iranian regime’s production infrastructure in order to disrupt its ability to manufacture weapons developed over the years.
DEFENSE MINISTER: IRGC COMMANDERS ELIMINATED: Defense Minister Katz said Israel is acting “forcefully against the head of the octopus — the Iranian regime and the terrorist organization, the Revolutionary Guards.”
He added: “We are acting forcefully against the head of the octopus — the Iranian regime and the terrorist organization, the Revolutionary Guards. Last night we eliminated their navy commander, who now joins the commanders of the air force and the ground forces. Three veteran and central commanders eliminated in the air, at sea, and on land — and we’re not done yet. Anyone who acts against the State of Israel must know that there is no place to hide.”
❗️ TRUMP: IRAN OFFICIALS SEEKING A DEAL: President Trump said the Iranian officials involved in talks are unable to communicate with others inside the system, while saying they are seeking an agreement despite public denials.
He stated: “The people we’re talking to in Iran can’t communicate with the others. They claim they’re not negotiating, but they’re begging for a deal.”
TRUMP ANNOUNCES 10-DAY PAUSE IN ENERGY PLANT STRIKES: President Trump said he is pausing the period of energy plant destruction for 10 days following a request from the Iranian government.
He stated that the pause will last until Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and said talks are continuing and progressing well.
Trump stated: “As per Iranian government request, please let this statement serve to represent that I am pausing the period of energy plant destruction by 10 days to Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 P.M., Eastern Time. Talks are ongoing and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by the fake news media, and others, they are going very well”.
‼️ IRANIAN MILITARY THREATS: An Iranian military official told Tasnim that America wants to open the Strait of Hormuz through a “suicide operation” and warned that Iran is ready for it and ready to close the waterway.
The official also claimed that more than one million fighters have been prepared for a ground battle against the United States.
