STRIKES ON IRANIAN WEAPONS PRODUCTION INDUSTRIES: The IDF says it is intensifying strikes on the Iranian regime’s weapons production industries, with more than 1,000 production-related targets struck so far.
Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, the Israeli Air Force, Intelligence Directorate, and Operations Directorate have led an ongoing effort to degrade the regime’s weapons production capabilities. The campaign includes systematic targeting of production lines to damage Iran’s manufacturing, development, and research capacity across its military industries.
For years, the Iranian regime has built an extensive network for the production and research of weapons systems, primarily ballistic missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, air defense systems, satellites, naval weaponry, and additional capabilities. This development is carried out in coordination with private companies working with the regime’s security apparatus, led by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Many of the weapons produced in Iran are transferred to terrorist proxies across the Middle East. They are then used by the Iranian regime and its proxies to target the State of Israel, the region, and the wider world.
❗️ DEADLY SHOOTING DURING CONFRONTATION IN JUDEA AND SAMARIA: Earlier today, Israeli security forces were dispatched to the area of Harmala following a report of a confrontation between Israeli civilians and Palestinians.
An illegal outpost was established overnight on private Palestinian property and was evacuated earlier today. It was later illegally reestablished.
During the confrontation, an Israeli civilian shot toward a gathering in the area. As a result, an eastern Jerusalem civilian was killed and three others were injured.
Israel Police have opened an investigation into the incident. Upon arriving at the scene, forces worked to disperse the confrontation and evacuated the injured for medical treatment.
⚠️ Chief of Staff warning over force strain and legislation delays: Chief of Staff LTG: Eyal Zamir warned in the cabinet yesterday, in the midst of the war: “I’m raising 10 red flags — the IDF is collapsing in on itself.”
The background given was a shortage of combat soldiers and the heavy burden on those serving. The issue was framed as especially severe because, despite the scale of the IDF’s deployment, mandatory service has not been extended to 36 months and is expected in a few months to be shortened to 30 months.
A senior cabinet official responded that the Chief of Staff’s remarks were being presented in a way opposite to what he actually meant. According to that account, Zamir warned that delays in completing the Conscription Law, extending compulsory service to 36 months, and amending the Reserve Forces Law will prevent the IDF from carrying out all its missions, and that these measures must be passed as soon as possible.
The same official said all cabinet members explicitly support completing the three laws, which are already before the committee, and argued that the delay stems from the legal advisory staff, who oppose all three laws. The official also said Bennett, Lapid, and Eisenkot are now supporting the same Conscription Law that the Chief of Staff called on the committee to pass urgently.
It was further argued that, regardless of what the Chief of Staff intended, enemy media outlets are not focusing on the legal details of mandatory or reserve service but are instead concluding from his remarks that the army is nearing collapse because of the enemy’s prowess.
