ROCKET STRIKES KIRYAT SHMONA WITHOUT ALERT: CCTV footage captured the moment a Hezbollah rocket directly hit Kiryat Shmona early this morning.
Rescue services said the impact damaged a road, while shrapnel struck nearby homes and vehicles. No injuries were reported.
The IDF said a “localized malfunction” prevented the launch from being detected, and as a result no sirens were activated in the city.
The IDF said the incident is under further investigation.
IDF WARNS RESIDENTS TO EVACUATE KFAR HATTA: The IDF issued an evacuation warning for the Lebanese village of Kfar Hatta, north of the Zahrani River, ahead of airstrikes against Hezbollah.
Army spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee said: “Hezbollah’s activities are forcing the IDF to act against it with force. The IDF does not intend to harm you. For your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move at least 1,000 meters away from the village.”
⚠️ ISRAELI ASSESSMENTS WARN HEZBOLLAH RETAINS SIGNIFICANT FIREPOWER: Channel 12, citing Israeli security assessments, reported that Hezbollah is prepared for a prolonged confrontation with Israel and still possesses hundreds of launch platforms north of the Litani River.
The report said the group is capable of carrying out around 200 attacks daily for up to five months, and that fighting is expected to continue and escalate even if a ceasefire is reached with Iran.
Channel 12, citing the IDF Northern Command, also reported that earlier assessments of neutralizing Hezbollah’s strength were overly optimistic.
According to that assessment, Hezbollah still retains capabilities that remain a concern despite the heavy blows it has sustained.
⚠️ THREATS, WARNINGS, AND U.S. POSITIONING: Channel 14 Israel, citing a security official, reported that the assassination of Naim Qassem is only a matter of time.
Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc said, “Any buffer zone, no matter what, will be a graveyard for the invaders”.
The U.S. Embassy in Beirut called on American citizens to depart Lebanon while commercial flight options remain available.

The Wall Street Journal, citing officials, reported that President Trump’s aides argued Iran’s energy facilities and bridges are legitimate targets.
According to the report, they believe destroying those sites would cripple Iran’s missile and nuclear programs.
