‼️ U.S. SIGNALS LARGEST STRIKE WAVE YET AGAINST IRAN, MAINTAINS TUESDAY DEADLINE AS TALKS CONTINUE AND DISPUTES DEEPEN OVER CEASEFIRE TERMS, ENERGY TARGETS, AND STRAIT OF HORMUZ CONTROL

🕑 April 7, 2026 | 1:00 PM

💥 U.S. STRIKE SIGNALS: US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said: “Today will be the largest volume of strikes since day one. Tomorrow? Even more than today”.

He also warned Iran: “Choose wisely. Trump does not play around. You can ask Soleimani. You can ask Maduro. You can ask Khamenei”.

The Wall Street Journal reports the U.S. military is preparing for possible strikes on energy sector targets in Iran.

⚠️ TRUMP DEADLINE AND WAR AIMS: President Trump said: “Iran still has a deadline until 8:00 p.m. Washington time tomorrow. We are currently negotiating with Iran, but I’m not saying we have reached an agreement with them.”

He added: “The entire country could be taken out in one night. And that night could be tomorrow night”.

On the deadline, Trump said: “Tuesday, 8:00 P.M. Eastern Time!”

Trump said: “I hope we won’t have to bomb energy facilities in Iran”.

He also said: “Iran is negotiating in good faith, and the negotiators are now more rational. The war with Iran could end very quickly if they do what they need to do.”

Trump added: “We are destroying them in Iran, and if they refuse to surrender, they will have no power stations or bridges left. The war is about one thing: ensuring Iran does not obtain nuclear weapons.”

He said: “Whitkov and Kushner are holding talks with the Iranians, and Vance may also participate.”

🔸 NEGOTIATIONS AND IRANIAN DEMANDS: Axios, citing a U.S. official, reported: “Iran has submitted extreme demands”.

Axios also reported the main point of disagreement is Iran’s request for a permanent halt to the war.

Iran sent a 10-point response via Pakistan to a U.S. proposal to end the war, rejecting a temporary ceasefire and instead demanding a permanent settlement on its own terms.

Iran says a ceasefire alone is insufficient and seeks a lasting agreement.

Demands include an end to regional fighting, sanctions relief, reconstruction support, and safe transit rules in the Strait of Hormuz, according to IRNA.

🚢 STRAIT OF HORMUZ: A reporter asked: “Are you willing to make a deal that does not include reopening the Strait of Hormuz?”

President Trump replied: “Reopening the Strait of Hormuz is a very big priority”.

When asked, “Are you willing to end this war with Iran charging tolls at the strait?” Trump answered: “What about us charging tolls? We should do it. We won”.

He also said: “We are the victors, and we will not allow the defeated Iranians to impose fees for passing through the Strait of Hormuz—rather, we will be the ones to do it.”

A senior Iranian official told Al Jazeera: “Iran will allow ships from certain friendly countries to pass through the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for security fees and aims to obtain war compensation through these measures, Several Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, and French vessels have already been granted passage permits.”

The same official also said: “Iran will allow ships from some friendly countries to pass through the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for paying security fees. Several Indian, Pakistani, Turkish, and French ships have obtained a transit permit for the Strait of Hormuz. Iran intends to obtain war reparations from security fees on the Strait of Hormuz”.

⚠️ HOUTHI THREATS TO REGIONAL SHIPPING: Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said the group has no plans to target Red Sea shipping or U.S. assets unless the conflict escalates. He also said they would not attack other Muslim countries unless provoked.

At the same time, the Houthis warned that rising tensions could lead them to close the Bab al-Mandab Strait. They added that Saudi Red Sea ports would remain safe as long as Saudi Arabia does not become involved in the escalation.
