IDF ASSESSES FURTHER ATTACKS DURING PASSOVER: IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin says the military assesses that Iran and Hezbollah will attempt additional attacks on Israel this evening.
“We assess that this evening as well, the Iranian regime and Hezbollah will attempt to continue firing toward Israel. The IDF is prepared both defensively and offensively and will act against any threat,” Defrin says.
“I ask that you continue to follow Home Front Command instructions, they save lives,” he adds.
️ HOME FRONT COMMAND GUIDELINES REMAIN UNCHANGED: Following the situational assessment, Home Front Command defensive guidelines remain unchanged and in effect until Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 20:00.
The Home Front Command is continuing ongoing assessments regarding educational activity and gatherings under a limited activity level.
❗️ ROCKET IMPACTS AND LIGHT INJURIES REPORTED: A Hezbollah rocket struck a home in Kiryat Shmona, according to rescue services, and no injuries were reported at the scene.
Magen David Adom says two people were lightly injured in the latest Iranian and Hezbollah attacks, including a 46-year-old man in southern Israel hurt by falling fragments after the interception of an Iranian ballistic missile and a 36-year-old in the Galilee injured by shrapnel following a Hezbollah rocket impact.
Both were taken to hospitals in good condition.
❌ 769TH BRIGADE LOCATES UNDERGROUND COMPOUND AND WEAPONS STOCKPILES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Reserve troops from the 769th Brigade, under the command of the 91st Division, continue targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon.
The troops located underground living quarters containing military equipment and weapons, including military vests, RPG rockets, and explosive devices.
Alongside these items, a flag of the UNHCR organization was also found.
In additional activity, the troops located several weapons stockpiles, including AK-47 rifles, RPG launchers, sniper rifles, and equipment for prolonged stays.
During searches, the troops also located a Hezbollah observation post and dismantled it using tank fire.
殺 GOLANI BRIGADE DISMANTLES MORE THAN 300 TERROR INFRASTRUCTURE SITES IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Golani Brigade troops, under the command of the 36th Division, are continuing targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon.
So far, the troops have dismantled more than 300 terror infrastructure sites from the air and the ground, including weapons storage facilities, booby-trapped structures, and enemy positions.
In addition, the troops struck and eliminated dozens of terrorists and located more than 10 underground shafts, along with hundreds of weapons.
The IDF says it will continue operating against the Hezbollah terrorist organization and will not allow harm to come to the residents of Israel.
IDF ELIMINATES HAMAS WEAPONS SMUGGLING OPERATIVE IN CENTRAL GAZA: The IDF says it struck and eliminated Ali Ahmad Ali Amrain in the central Gaza Strip on Saturday.
According to the military, Amrain was involved in smuggling weapons for the Hamas terrorist organization and worked throughout the war to supply various weapons used in terror attacks across the Gaza Strip.
The IDF says the strike was carried out to remove the threat posed to IDF troops.
