Passover is over. The seders are done. But poverty in Israel did not end when the holiday did.
A fragile ceasefire has paused the Iran war, but the North is still under threat, and IDF Soldiers, their wives, and their children are still carrying the weight every single day.
Some fathers are still away. Some families are still scrambling between fear, bills, and empty kitchens. Some Holocaust survivors made it through the holiday, and now have no idea how they’ll get through the weeks ahead.
Meir Panim is still there, providing hot meals, food boxes, and practical help to the people who cannot simply “move on.”
