⚠️ NORTHERN COMMUNITIES WARNED OF POSSIBLE ROCKET FIRE: The Mateh Asher Regional Council and Nahariya Municipality instructed residents to remain near bomb shelters after receiving information from the military about planned Hezbollah rocket fire from Lebanon.
The IDF has not announced any official changes to civilian guidelines at this stage, despite repeated Hezbollah attacks on the Western Galilee during the conflict.
CEASEFIRE REPORTS AND ISRAELI RESPONSE: The Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen channel, citing a senior Iranian source, reported that a ceasefire in Lebanon would begin tonight and last for one week, aligning with the ceasefire period between Iran and the United States.
KAN reports, citing an Israeli official, that a ceasefire proposal was delivered to Israel through the United States and will be discussed by the security cabinet this evening. Israeli officials emphasized that no decision has been made and that Israel will not stop fighting as long as Hezbollah continues rocket fire.
殺 IDF CHIEF: OPERATIONS ADVANCING, HEZBOLLAH UNDER PRESSURE: IDF Chief of Staff LTG Eyal Zamir visited the 162nd Division in southern Lebanon, where he conducted a situational assessment with senior commanders and observed ongoing operations on the ground.
He praised the troops and said IDF forces, together with Northern Command, are achieving significant operational gains as Hezbollah withdraws under sustained pressure.
Zamir confirmed that additional operational plans have been approved, with continuous assessments underway in both Lebanon and Iran.
He said Israel remains in a very high state of readiness, with Air Force assets armed, targets prepared, and the ability to carry out immediate large-scale strikes if required. He also said recent coordinated action with the United States severely struck the Iranian regime, including degrading its defensive capabilities.
IDF operations continue across multiple sectors in southern Lebanon, with more than 1,700 Hezbollah operatives eliminated since the start of the campaign.
Active combat is ongoing in Bint Jbeil with the 98th Division, while the 162nd Division is dismantling terrorist infrastructure in the Beit Leaf area. Additional divisions are deployed to stabilize the forward defense zone.
Zamir said he directed southern Lebanon up to the Litani River to be treated as a no-go zone for Hezbollah operatives, reinforcing Israel’s objective to deny the group operational freedom in the area. He said the campaign is intended to defend Israeli border communities including Hanita, Zar’it, and Shlomi, while acknowledging the heavy cost of the fighting and commending the troops’ determination to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure and capabilities.
