⚠️ Cabinet holds off on ceasefire decision: The Israeli security cabinet ended its meeting without deciding whether to accept a ceasefire with Lebanon. A Lebanese official told the Financial Times that a ceasefire announcement is expected soon.

Two sources familiar with the discussions said the ceasefire would likely take effect after the IDF completes control of Hezbollah’s stronghold in Bint Jbeil, a milestone aligned with both Israeli and Lebanese government interests.

 Netanyahu: operations continue, readiness maintained: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli forces are continuing strikes against Hezbollah and are nearing control of Bint Jbeil. He added that instructions were given to reinforce the security zone.

He also confirmed ongoing coordination with the United States regarding contacts with Iran, stating that objectives are aligned. Israel is preparing for all scenarios, including a possible resumption of fighting.

 Casualties from rocket fire in southern Lebanon: The Israel Defense Forces reported that one soldier was seriously wounded and four others were lightly wounded by rocket fire from southern Lebanon.

The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital for treatment, and their families have been notified.
