❌ WEAPONS AND EXPLOSIVES CACHE FOUND AFTER KARMEI TZUR ATTACK: IDF soldiers located weapons belonging to the terrorists who hurled explosives and Molotov cocktails toward the community of Karmei Tzur.

Yesterday, following questioning of the suspects by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), IDF soldiers and Israeli Border Police forces also located and dismantled an explosives cache concealed in a school in Beit Ummar.

Approximately two weeks ago, two terrorists hurled explosives and Molotov cocktails toward Karmei Tzur.

No injuries were reported, and IDF forces operating in the area later apprehended both terrorists and transferred them for further questioning.

The IDF said it views the use of schools for terrorist activity with the utmost severity and will continue operating to thwart terrorism.

 KIRYAT SHMONA FORTIFICATION PLAN APPROVED: The Northern District Planning and Building Committee approved a Planning Administration plan to fortify and upgrade approximately 3,500 detached homes in Kiryat Shmona.

The move is part of a broader effort to rehabilitate northern communities following the war.

Owners of older homes will be able to split housing units and add a protected room without complex planning procedures.

The stated goal is to encourage residents who left to return.

⚠️ IDF WARNS RESIDENTS NOT TO RETURN TO SOUTHERN LEBANON HOMES: The IDF spokesperson in Arabic warned residents of southern Lebanon not to return to their homes at this stage.

The statement said that during the ceasefire, the IDF continues to hold its positions in southern Lebanon in light of Hezbollah’s ongoing terrorist activities, and residents are required not to move south of the village line until further notice and to avoid approaching the Litani River.

 REPORT SAYS TRUMP SIGNALLED FLEXIBILITY ON CEASEFIRE EXTENSION: A report on Lebanon’s MTV channel said President Trump reassured Lebanese President Joseph Aoun during a phone call on Thursday regarding the possibility of extending the ceasefire with Israel if needed.

The report also said Trump expressed understanding for the need to allow conditions to mature before holding a direct call or meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu.

 AOUN SAYS HE CHOSE NEGOTIATIONS OVER CONTINUED WAR: Lebanese President Aoun said: “Lebanon faces two options — continuing the war with all its humanitarian, social, economic, and sovereignty consequences, or negotiations to end the war and achieve lasting stability. I have chosen negotiations, and I hope we can save Lebanon.”

 NETANYAHU CONDEMNS DAMAGE TO CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS ICON: PM Netanyahu condemned an incident in which an IDF soldier damaged a Catholic religious icon in southern Lebanon.

He said military authorities are conducting a criminal investigation and that appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.

He stated:

“As the Jewish state, Israel cherishes and upholds the Jewish values of tolerance and mutual respect between Jews and worshippers of all faiths.

All religions flourish in our land and we view members of all faiths as equals in building our society and region.

Yesterday, like the overwhelming majority of Israelis, I was stunned and saddened to learn that an IDF soldier damaged a Catholic religious icon in southern Lebanon.

I condemn the act in the strongest terms.

Military authorities are conducting a criminal probe of the matter and will take appropriately harsh disciplinary action against the offender.

While Christians are being slaughtered in Syria and Lebanon by Muslims, the Christian population in Israel thrives unlike elsewhere in the Middle East.

Israel is the only country in the region that the Christian population and standard of living is growing.

Israel is the only place in the Middle East that adheres to freedom of worship for all.

We express regret for the incident and for any hurt this has caused to believers in Lebanon and around the world.”
