 U.S. MILITARY POSTURE AND POTENTIAL STRIKES: US officials told Fox News: “We are closer to resuming major combat operations against Iran than we were 24 hours ago”.

Sources told Israel Hayom that the U.S. and Israel are considering strikes on Iranian missile launchers and an energy facility in response to the Iranian attack on the UAE.

 MARITIME ATTACKS IN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ: Two U.S. Navy destroyers were targeted by Iranian small boats, drones, and missiles while transiting the Strait of Hormuz earlier today, according to CBS News.

An ADNOC crude oil tanker was hit by two Iranian drones off the coast of Oman, according to a company statement. No crew members were injured, and the vessel was not carrying cargo at the time. The UAE strongly condemned the attack, and further updates are expected.

️ UAE ATTACK AND SOUTH KOREAN SHIP INCIDENT: President Trump told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl that he would not say whether Iran violated the ceasefire by launching drones and missiles at the UAE. “They were shot down for the most part. One got through. Not huge damage.”

On the Iranian attack on a South Korean ship in the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said: “We’re going to look into it. Shots were fired at a South Korean ship, and I think South Korea should take some action… This was a South Korean ship riding by itself. It was not an escorted ship.”

✈️ REGIONAL MILITARY ACTIVITY: Initial reports indicate nearly 30 U.S. in-air refueling aircraft are airborne across the Middle East, with most currently loitering above Iraq. The aircraft above Iraq have their transponders disabled.

Unprecedented GPS disruptions are being reported in the Persian Gulf.

 INTERNATIONAL RESPONSES: South Korea’s Defense Ministry stated: “We will review our position on joining the US operation in the Strait of Hormuz”.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on X: “Events in Hormuz make clear that there’s no military solution to a political crisis. As talks are making progress with Pakistan’s gracious effort, the U.S. should be wary of being dragged back into quagmire by ill-wishers. So should the UAE. Project Freedom is Project Deadlock.”

 ISRAEL DOMESTIC PREPAREDNESS: Ben Gurion Airport is on high alert due to the possibility of Israel’s airspace being closed, according to Israeli Channel 14.

☢️ NUCLEAR TIMELINE ASSESSMENT: Even after two months of U.S.-Israeli bombing, Iran’s timeline to build a nuclear weapon remains unchanged and would still take about one year, according to Reuters, citing three sources familiar with the matter.

️ ENERGY AND ECONOMIC IMPACT: Physical shortages in oil supply are beginning to emerge as a result of the Strait of Hormuz closure, according to Chevron CEO Mike Wirth.

Brent crude oil prices surged above $119 per barrel after the UAE announced that an Iranian drone attack hit one of its petroleum facilities.
