⚠️ U.S. / IRAN NEGOTIATIONS: Hossein Maleki, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Committee, said Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir will visit Tehran today to deliver a new message from Washington.
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi returned to Tehran and met with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, IRGC Chief General Ahmad Vahidi, and Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni to discuss what was described as a “fresh” U.S. proposal.
Pakistani government sources said Pakistan-led mediation has entered a “critical phase,” with a new U.S. proposal aimed at ending the conflict now on the table.
According to Tasnim News Agency, the U.S. submitted the proposal after Tehran delivered a revised 14-point response three days ago. Iran is reviewing the text and has not yet issued a reply.
Pakistani mediation efforts are continuing as both sides attempt to narrow their differences, though no final agreement has been reached.
PRESIDENT TRUMP / IRAN: President Trump on Iran: “We are actually dealing with some very good people. We are dealing with some people with talent and with good brainpower. We are pretty impressed.”
President Trump denied sanctions relief would be given before a deal is signed and said: “We will wait for the Iranian response for a few days.”
Reports claimed a U.S.-Iran deal could be reached within hours and could include an end to the war, reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and an end to “media instigation and attacks.”
According to those reports, talks would begin within seven days, and sanctions would be lifted gradually based on Iranian steps.

MARKET REACTION / POSSIBLE CONCESSIONS: Polymarket betting activity on major American concessions to Iran surged sharply.
Reported concessions being priced into the market include unfreezing Iranian assets and relief from oil sanctions.
One report stated: “The question is no longer whether Iran moved from its demands – it’s how far Washington is willing to move from its own.”
❗️ TRUMP / NETANYAHU CALL: According to Axios, President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu discussed renewed efforts to reach a deal with Iran during what was described as a lengthy and difficult phone call on Tuesday.
Two Israeli sources said the leaders disagreed over the way forward. A U.S. source briefed on the call said “Netanyahu’s hair was on fire after the call.”
Axios reported Netanyahu remains highly skeptical of the negotiations and wants to resume the war to further degrade Iran’s military capabilities and damage critical Iranian infrastructure.
Following the call, Israel’s ambassador in Washington reportedly briefed several members of Congress and said Netanyahu came away deeply concerned about the direction of the negotiations between Washington and Tehran.
⚠️ STRAIT OF HORMUZ / IRGC THREATS: Iran’s newly announced “Persian Gulf Strait Authority” said it established a controlled maritime zone in the Strait of Hormuz.
The IRGC Navy stated: “If Trump thinks that he can reopen the Strait of Hormuz by force and with a warship, he should know that the same navy he claimed was destroyed will sink him to the bottom of the sea”.
