⚠️ Sirens regarding a hostile aircraft infiltration were sounded in the area of Malkia.
Following the sirens at 17:10, a suspicious aerial target was identified before contact was lost. The incident has concluded. No injuries were reported.
️ Following a situational assessment, Home Front Command defensive guidelines remain unchanged and in effect until Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 20:00.
❌ In a joint operation conducted by IDF troops, the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), and the Gideonim Unit 33, terrorist Shadi Jumaa was apprehended in the heart of Qalqilya.
Jumaa took part in the November 19, 2007 shooting attack in Funduq, in which Israeli civilian Ido Zoldan was murdered.
According to the IDF, Jumaa had recently been released from detention by the Palestinian Authority, where he had been held until now.
Following his apprehension, he was transferred for questioning by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet).
❗️ IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir has decided to dismiss the former Military Advocate General from IDF service.
The IDF stated that Zamir ordered her immediate suspension once suspicions arose in the “Sde Teiman” affair.
According to the military, the decision was made in light of the prolonged criminal proceedings and the severity of the alleged actions and suspicions.
The former Military Advocate General will not be entitled to “service period completion” benefits. Zamir also stated that demotion in rank should be considered once the criminal proceedings are completed and the facts become clear.
The Minister of Defense has been informed of the decisions.
