The IDF continues demolishing structures in Shiite Muslim villages near the border that were used as Hezbollah front outposts. Footage from Maroun al-Ras this morning showed continued demolition activity.
Lebanese media reported Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire across southern Lebanon and the western Bekaa Valley. Reported targets included Mashghara, Ansariyeh, Sajd, Jebchit, Kfar, the Al-Bass agricultural area in Tyre, Marj Al-Khokh between Khiam and Ibl Al-Saqi, residential areas in Tyre, and nearby Palestinian camps.
❗️ Lebanon’s Health Ministry said preliminary figures indicate 8 people were killed and 32 injured in a strike on a residential area in Tyre.

⚠️ Israel’s Security Cabinet instructed the IDF that any launch crossing from Lebanon into Israel can be met with strikes in Beirut without waiting for additional political approval. Channel 14 reported that the decision applies to any rocket or missile fire from Lebanon toward Israel.
❗️ U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michel Issa said this morning in Beirut: “If Hezbollah stops its attacks on Israel, Israel will not target the Dahieh district of Beirut.”
️ President Trump told Axios: “I received calls from 5 countries in the region asking me to pressure Netanyahu to stop. The countries that contacted me were very concerned. Israel informed us very late about the strikes on Iran, but I was able to ultimately limit their scope”.
President Trump also described his conversation with Prime Minister Netanyahu: “We had a very good conversation. They attacked him and he struck back. I don’t blame him for acting that way… Now they (Iran and Israel) will leave each other alone for a week or something like that… Both sides agreed to stop. We are now in the final stage of a very good deal that will not allow nuclear weapons for Iran and will lead to the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz. This could happen within two or three days.”
❌ The IDF ruled out the possibility of a second attacker after troops killed a gunman near the Lebanon border earlier today. Residents of Misgav Am, Margaliot, and Manara had been instructed to remain indoors during searches. The Upper Galilee Regional Council later said scans were completed with no additional findings, and all restrictions were lifted.
⚠️ An Israeli official told Yedioth Ahronoth: “We will fire on the southern suburbs of Beirut if they cross the fence into our territories”.
Reports from Israeli and Lebanese media indicated several Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded in a Hezbollah drone strike in southern Lebanon. Further details remain pending.
