❌ IDF STRIKES ARMED TERRORISTS NEAR SECURITY ZONE: A short while ago, the IDF identified a cell of armed terrorists operating in close proximity to IDF soldiers in the Security Zone in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area of southern Lebanon.
Following the identification, IDF soldiers struck the terrorists north of the Security Zone in order to remove the immediate threat.
According to the IDF, the terrorists posed an immediate danger to soldiers operating in the area.
The IDF stated that it will continue to operate against immediate threats and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians or IDF soldiers.
️ ISRAELI NAVY THWARTED INFILTRATION ATTEMPT INTO EILAT: Channel 12 reported that the Israeli Navy recently thwarted an attempted infiltration into Eilat’s hotel district involving a jet ski launched from Jordan.
The incident occurred about two weeks ago. Israeli forces fired at the vessel, which then fled back toward Jordan.
The IDF assesses that the jet ski was remotely controlled in an attempt to test local defense systems. Due to the peak tourism season, Israeli Navy Commander Maj. Gen. Eyal Harel ordered increased readiness in the area.
BENNETT COMMENTS ON JUDEA AND SAMARIA TRIGGER POLITICAL FIRESTORM: Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Area C would ultimately become part of Israel, while Areas A and B would be part of “‘Palestinian’ autonomy.”
“Ultimately Area C will be part of the State of Israel, Areas A and B will be part of the ‘Palestinian’ autonomy,” Bennett said in an interview with the “HaMangannon” podcast.
Bennett said legal Israeli construction in Area C on state land that is not privately owned by Palestinians is “blessed.” He added: “Construction that is not legal or not in Area C or on private lands is not legitimate.”
Asked how he would act if “things are done illegally,” Bennett responded: “What is not legal will not be, certainly.” He explained: “A certain area is either privately owned by ‘Palestinians’—just like I live in Ra’anana, I won’t let you build on my land.”
Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich sharply criticized Bennett, writing: “Now Bennett, who will be a minister in Eisenkot’s government, is saying it out loud: he will evacuate the farms.”
Smotrich added: “Bennett is saying: a ‘Palestinian’ autonomy’ will be established—meaning a terror state in the heart of the country. Eisenkot’s government will establish a ‘Palestinian’ terror state and destroy the new towns and the agricultural farms. We cannot let them form the next government.”
Binyamin Regional Council head and Yesha Council chairman Israel Gantz also criticized Bennett’s comments.
“Naftali Bennett announced this evening the establishment of a terror state ten minutes from his home in Ra’anana. Already today we face an army of about 50,000 armed soldiers of the ‘Palestinian’ Authority—a corrupt, terror-encouraging entity led by Iran. After the massacre in the Gaza envelope, only someone ignoring reality could propose giving this army strategic territory in the heart of the country.”
