HAMAS TERRORIST WHO PARTICIPATED IN OCTOBER 7 ELIMINATED: Earlier this week, the IDF struck in the southern Gaza Strip and eliminated Akram Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Mazi, a terrorist in Hamas’ military wing who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre. ❗️ DEFENSE MINISTRY CIVILIAN CONTRACTOR KILLED IN GAZA: A civilian contractor employed by a company carrying out Defense Ministry engineering and demolition work in the Gaza Strip was killed today in an operational accident. Raad Abu al-Qi’an, of Hura, was operating heavy machinery when a structure collapsed during demolition work. His family has been notified. The IDF and Defense Ministry said they share in the family’s grief and extended their condolences.
IDF STRIKES THREAT IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: The Israeli Air Force struck a vehicle carrying several suspects after it crossed into the Israeli security zone in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area and posed a threat to IDF troops. According to the IDF, the vehicle crossed the ceasefire line before the strike was carried out to remove the threat. Lebanese media reported two fatalities.
❗️ IDF SOLDIER MODERATELY INJURED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: An IDF soldier was moderately wounded today in an operational accident in southern Lebanon. He was evacuated to a hospital, his family was notified, and the circumstances remain under investigation.
❌ JOINT IDF AND SHIN BET OPERATION ELIMINATES WANTED ARMS DEALER: IDF soldiers and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) eliminated terrorist Mohamed Zayed during a joint counterterrorism operation in the Yamun area of Judea and Samaria. Zayed supplied weapons to the terrorist responsible for a 2025 shooting attack in which two IDF soldiers were severely wounded. He had been evading arrest for an extended period, hiding in multiple locations, and was assessed to have access to weapons. During the attempted arrest, he attempted to flee, posed a threat to the forces, and was eliminated on the scene.
️ IDF EXERCISE PLANNED FOR ETZION BRIGADE SECTOR: A military exercise will begin tomorrow morning in the Etzion Brigade sector and is expected to conclude around midday. Residents can expect increased movement of security forces and vehicles, along with the sound of explosions. The exercise was planned in advance as part of the IDF’s 2026 training program. There is no concern of a security incident.
