⚔️ FOUR IDF SOLDIERS WOUNDED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON CLASH: Four IDF soldiers, including two officers, were wounded during an overnight close-quarters encounter with a Hezbollah terrorist in the Beit Yahoun area of southern Lebanon.
One combat officer was moderately wounded. Another officer and two soldiers were lightly wounded.
All were evacuated to hospital, and their families have been notified.
According to the IDF investigation, at approximately 10:00 p.m. the Hezbollah terrorist, who was hiding in a building, threw a grenade at Israeli troops, causing the injuries.
Within minutes, the force returned fire and eliminated the terrorist.
Following the attack, the IDF struck several Hezbollah sites in the area with artillery fire and Israeli Air Force strikes.

⚔️ LEBANESE REPORTS OF THE CLASH: Lebanese media reported additional exchanges around Beit Yahoun.
Al-Jadeed reported that an explosive device targeted an Israeli force advancing toward Beit Yahoun, followed by Israeli artillery shelling, an airstrike in the Bent Jbeil District, and flare deployments to secure a helicopter evacuation of wounded troops.
Al Mayadeen reported Israeli airstrikes on Beit Yahoun.
Al-Jadeed also reported an Israeli airstrike on Al-Nabatieh Al-Fouqa in southern Lebanon.
️ ISRAELI CABINET DEBATES LEBANON CEASEFIRE POLICY: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yisrael Katz rejected cabinet criticism regarding military constraints during the Lebanon ceasefire.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, they said Israeli forces on the ground “respond to any immediate threat” and maintained that the United States recognizes Israel’s right to defend itself.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir demanded “collapsing the agreement” following the grenade attack and urged forces to bomb hundreds of targets.
According to the report, Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir responded to ministerial complaints by stating, “you wanted a ceasefire.”
Ministers Orit Struk and Yitzhak Wasserlauf criticized tactical restrictions beyond the Yellow Line as Hezbollah continues “flowing ammunition.”
They warned that deployed forces feel “like they are at a shooting range,” despite defense leadership assurances that no single soldier is being endangered.
