 NETANYAHU TO PRESENT IRAN INTELLIGENCE IN WASHINGTON

The Prime Minister’s Office announced: “The PM will leave for Washington on Monday at the invitation of President Trump”.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team plan to meet President Trump at the White House on Tuesday and present what Israeli officials describe as fresh intelligence concerning Iran’s military and nuclear recovery efforts.

Channel 12 reported that the material includes Israeli assessments that Iran is accelerating efforts under Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to advance toward a nuclear weapon.

U.S. intelligence agencies reportedly assess that Mojtaba Khamenei is more willing than his father, Ali Khamenei, to pursue nuclear weapons. Iran has not resumed its nuclear program, but U.S. officials believe the new leadership is more open to developing advanced nuclear capabilities, according to The New York Times.

⚓ U.S. AND UK DISCUSS HORMUZ SHIPPING COALITION

The United States and Britain are planning a high-level meeting in London this week to discuss forming an international coalition to protect commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian officials issued explicit threats against Britain over possible participation in the conflict.

One Iranian official told The Telegraph: “The Iranian Armed Forces hold influence over the corridors, and in some cases ran them outright. At the moment we have people right there in London, revolutionary people who care about the world and the lives of children — they wait for us to tell them what to do. We have not done that yet but can easily make London unsafe for you if we want. These smuggling routes are more important and useful than the missiles for us. We do not need a missile to target London. It is easier than that”.

Another Iranian official said: “Our armed forces message was very clear – stay away from the carnage. Britain has convinced itself that geography was protection. The Americans had made the same error, and are now losing men in numbers Washington would not publish. Do not forget you also have bases within the range of our missiles. Tell them to stay away if they want to be safe and not live like American officials fearing for their lives”.

A second official told the newspaper: “If we want to, we have people there to even target their PM’s house using these people and make all of their cities unsafe for them. It is a choice for them. The people already in place, are walking in and out of government offices and no one checks them”.

The Telegraph reported that suspected Iranian covert operatives, including individuals linked to Iranian intelligence agencies, have been intercepted by British authorities while attempting to enter Britain aboard small boats crossing the English Channel. The report gives operational context to the officials’ threats that Iran could use established smuggling routes and people already inside Britain rather than relying solely on missiles.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned: “Any country, whether it is Britain or another, will be a legitimate target for us if it supports America in the war”.
