IRAN FIRES BALLISTIC MISSILES AT U.S. BASE IN JORDAN: Overnight, the IRGC launched a ballistic missile strike targeting Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan in response to U.S. attacks on Iranian oil tankers. The operation was carried out under the codename “Ya Haidar Al-Karrar.”
The IRGC claimed the strikes inflicted heavy damage on “the enemy.” Jordan said 20 ballistic missiles were launched toward the country, with 18 intercepted and two falling in unpopulated areas. No casualties were reported. The interceptions over Jordan were visible across Israel.
The Wall Street Journal, citing a U.S. official, reported that Iran’s latest attack on American forces in Jordan was ineffective and that all U.S. personnel were accounted for.
STRIKE REPORTED IN SOUTHERN LEBANON: Lebanese media reported one person killed in an Israeli strike on a motorcycle on the road between Harouf and Zebdin. There was no immediate IDF comment.
Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified in southern Lebanon, placing the U.S.-backed ceasefire under growing strain. The Washington Post reported that Israeli strikes have killed at least 28 people and wounded 79 since Saturday, displaced additional residents and raised concerns that Israel could launch a broader operation ahead of next month’s elections. Lebanese officials have called on Washington and the international community to intervene to prevent further escalation.
GAZA CITY STRIKE REPORTED AFTER WARNING: Palestinian media reported an Israeli strike on a building in Gaza City’s Shati camp following a warning issued by the military. The IDF had not yet commented on the strike.
