️ IDF COMPLETES LARGE-SCALE EILAT AND ARAVA DEFENSE EXERCISE: The IDF says Division 80, together with the Israeli Air Force and Navy, completed a large-scale exercise aimed at strengthening operational readiness and defense in Eilat and the Arava. Attack helicopters, missile boats and numerous ground forces operated simultaneously across several arenas.
Forces rehearsed dozens of multi-branch scenarios, including infiltration by vessels from the sea, a kidnapping incident, high-trajectory fire, mass-casualty events, and infiltrations into military bases and civilian sites including hotels, schools and beaches. The exercise also tested rapid force mobilization and deployment, the transition from routine to emergency operations, decision-making and operational responses across all command levels.
Division 96 was unexpectedly activated to manage a developing incident involving infiltration scenarios from the eastern border into the Dead Sea region. The IDF said it will conduct an in-depth review to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement and further strengthen defense and readiness for a range of scenarios.
️ NETANYAHU AT MOUNT HERMON: ISRAEL TO REMAIN UNTIL SECURITY ARRANGEMENT IS FOUND; SAYS MAIN TASK IS TO DEFEAT REGIME IN IRAN: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking from the summit of Mount Hermon in Syria alongside the Defense Minister and senior commanders, said Israel would remain there until a security arrangement is found.
Netanyahu: “On the eve of Rosh Hashanah, we are here at the top of Mount Hermon. Below us is Damascus, here is Lebanon, and there are the Golan Heights. We control the entire area, from Mount Hermon to the Yarmouk, and from here all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. This is unprecedented total control. This is one of the great achievements we have achieved. There is still work to do. The main task is to defeat the regime in Iran. We are very close to it. We know that the entire axis will ultimately fall. We are committed to doing this, and we will do it”.
⚠️ AMIT SEGAL URGES ISRAEL TO RECONSIDER SECURITY COOPERATION IF BRITAIN PUNISHES ISRAEL: In remarks on British television, Amit Segal argued that Britain should understand that punitive action against Israel could have consequences for security cooperation.
“Israel is not a superpower. It’s definitely a, a security, cyber, high-tech superpower. What happens if Israel decides that the factories of Iron Dome, for instance, move to Judea and Samaria, to what Europe calls the West Bank?
What happens if Israel ceases to cooperate on an intelligence basis with MI6 and MI5? I think Israel should consider this decision because the, the outcomes might be dramatic.
You cannot have the cake and eat it, too. I think it’s quite problematic for the, for the British government to treat Israel as the mistress in the Middle East. The one country that you condemn publicly, while you know, privately, behind closed doors, asking for help, for crucial help, in order to prevent terrorist attacks in London, for instance, or in order to prevent ISIS activists from entering the United Kingdom, or in purchasing vital, you know, security…

⚓ CENTCOM REJECTS IRGC CLAIM U.S. DESTROYERS WERE HIT, SAYS 10 IRANIAN TANKERS DESTROYED: CENTCOM directly rejected an IRGC claim that Iranian forces had successfully struck two U.S. Navy destroyers. The statement was publicly reported by 1:34 PM Israel time.
“No U.S. Navy warship has been struck; all IRGC attempted attacks failed.”
CENTCOM added: “Meanwhile, U.S. forces have successfully destroyed 10 Iranian tankers in just the last week. These vessels were part of a multibillion-dollar shadow network that funds the IRGC, and Iran cannot defend them”.
