Before Rosh Hashanah begins, I want to step back from the headlines for a moment and simply say: thank you.

Whether you joined Israel RealTime recently or have been here for years, thank you for reading, sharing, sending encouragement and feedback, and trusting us to get the details right. I don’t take that trust for granted.

May 5787 bring you, your families and friends health, happiness, a secure livelihood and peace of mind.

May those facing illness find healing, those carrying sorrow find comfort, and those feeling alone find connection. May our soldiers and everyone protecting Israel return home safely to the people who love them.

May Israel know greater security, unity and lasting peace. And may all of us have more reasons to celebrate, fewer reasons to worry, and more good news to share.
