ALI TAHER RIDGE: UNDERGROUND INFRASTRUCTURE DEMOLISHED: The IDF released new footage of the demolition of Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure at Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon. The source report described the site as Iran’s largest outpost outside its borders.
The IDF spokesperson said: “This network was built over two decades, with funding and direction from the Iranian terror regime. In recent months, our forces encircled the area and increased the pressure on the routes and on the terrorists who had fortified themselves inside them. All the terrorists who were in the infrastructure were eliminated or fled. Although Hezbollah declared that it would defend the infrastructure at any cost, it failed and even abandoned its men to die inside.”
Addressing Israeli losses during the operation, the spokesperson added: “Alongside the achievements and the completion of the mission, the fighting took a heavy toll on us. In the battles to capture and clear the ridge, our soldiers fell, the best of our sons, the salt of the earth. We completed the mission. These achievements are first and foremost theirs. We will continue to defend the northern communities and act to remove every threat to our citizens and our forces. Just as we operated here, we will continue to operate along all borders.”
Before the explosion, the commander of Company A in Maglan, one of the leaders of the operation to capture and destroy the ridge, said in a radio message: “Facing us was an entrenched and prepared enemy, determined to defend its assets. The enemy was humiliated, eliminated, and is no longer here. Through courage and cunning, we defeated the enemy, above and below ground. At this time, we remember the formation’s soldiers who fell on the way here: Staff Sgt. Adam Tzarfati, Capt. Shahar Gamla, and Sgt. First Class Nir Ben Ari, may their memories be a blessing. On the eve of the new year, a safer year lies ahead of us.”
A magnitude 4.1 earthquake was recorded in southern Lebanon following the tunnel demolition.

️ IRAN: ISRAEL INCREASES HOLIDAY READINESS: Channel 13 reported that security assessments held in Israel today explicitly highlighted the possibility that Iran might launch an offensive operation. Israeli officials said a decision had been made to “increase readiness and preparedness” during the country’s holiday period.
The IDF said in a briefing: “We are prepared for a range of scenarios, including multi-front scenarios.”
