❌ Tunnel dismantled in southern Gaza: The IDF said troops dismantled an underground terror tunnel approximately two kilometers long as part of continuing operations to clear terrorist infrastructure in southern Gaza within the Yellow Line area. Footage shows troops inside the tunnel and its dismantling.
Troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the framework of the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating to remove any immediate threat, the military said.

98th Division takes command of two territorial brigades: Following a directive from IDF Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, the 98th Division Headquarters completed operational preparations earlier today and began commanding the Etzion and Judea Brigades in Judea and Samaria.
The Judea and Samaria Division and the 98th Division, including the territorial brigades, will conduct joint defensive and offensive operations to strengthen security efforts and counter terrorism.
️ Sukkot reinforcements and standby forces: The IDF says it is bolstering forces across all fronts ahead of Sukkot, following similar measures before Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Standing army battalions in each regional command will remain deployed on alert until the holiday period ends, with brigade headquarters on standby for activation if needed. During the week-long Sukkot holiday, several combat companies will reinforce each sector, while additional companies will be placed on standby.
In Judea and Samaria, Central Command is being reinforced by several units, including Maglan commandos. Most recruits at military training bases will also remain on base during the holiday to provide additional standby forces for the various sectors.
The IDF said preparations also included “multi-organizational discussions” to ensure “synchronization, readiness, and coordination between the organizations.”
