Three years after October 7, we remember the lives taken and the families whose lives were changed forever.
In the aftermath of the attack, hundreds of ZAKA volunteers answered the call. For weeks, they carried out the difficult work of caring for the deceased with dignity and helping families find a measure of closure.
Many of those volunteers still carry what they witnessed, even as they continue serving communities across Israel today.
