IDF reports eliminating two Hamas terrorists near Kamal Adwan Hospital: The IDF said troops overnight identified two Hamas terrorists exiting Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza. According to the military, one planted explosives brought from inside the hospital near the Yellow Line with the intention of harming IDF troops. The IDF struck and eliminated both terrorists to remove the threat.
The IDF identified one of those eliminated as Muhammad Tammous, a sniper in Hamas’ military wing who simultaneously operated as a civil defense worker. It said he had been presented to the world as a ‘civil defense worker’.
According to the IDF, the terrorists had advanced attacks from within the hospital in recent days and worked to restore Hamas’ capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement.
The military said Hamas continues to exploit hospitals and medical infrastructure for terrorist purposes in violation of international law, turning spaces intended to care for civilians into areas used to advance terrorist activity and rebuild its military capabilities. It said this activity endangers the civilian population and referenced footage of the terrorists’ identification and elimination.
