️ IDF releases footage of alleged Hamas activity at Kamal Adwan Hospital: The IDF released footage it says shows armed Hamas terrorists inside Kamal Adwan Hospital in Jabalia, northern Gaza, and terrorists planting an explosive device outside the facility. According to the military, the hospital currently operates as a medical clinic during the day while remaining a major hub for Hamas terrorist activity.
Citing intelligence and footage, the IDF said Hamas uses the hospital and its surrounding area as cover to advance attacks and attempt to restore its capabilities, exploiting patients and medical staff and using civilians as human shields in violation of international law.
The military said Hamas and Islamic Jihad have used the facility and surrounding area in recent years to advance attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, despite repeated Israeli and IDF calls to refrain from using medical facilities for military purposes.
According to the IDF, troops operating around the hospital in December 2024 found extensive military equipment and weapons and apprehended more than 240 Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists, along with additional operatives suspected of being terrorists. The released material also includes interrogation footage published on January 7, 2025, in which a Hamas terrorist details Hamas activity around the hospital.
Southern Gaza strike and Yellow Line incident: The IDF said forces operating in southern Gaza last night identified a terrorist crossing the Yellow Line in a manner that posed an immediate threat and eliminated him immediately after identification.
Gazan media reported two people killed and three wounded in an Israeli strike this morning. According to Palestinian media, the strike hit a “security point” near a mosque in the Rafah area, killing Izz al-Din Iyad Diab Barhoum, 22, and Salah al-Din Iyad Abdul Hamid Aql, 29.
The IDF told the Times of Israel that it struck terror operatives in southern Gaza and that the results were under review.
Two suspects arrested over Aqraba violence: Israel Police and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) spokespersons said two suspects were arrested overnight on suspicion of involvement in an incident of extreme violence in the Aqraba area approximately one month ago.
The arrests followed a joint investigation by the interagency task force in the Judea and Samaria District and the Shin Bet. The investigation continues in cooperation with the Shin Bet and the Military Police Criminal Investigation Division.
Court imposes restrictions after Yasuf confrontation: IDF soldiers operated in the Yasuf area on Friday following a violent confrontation. After several Israelis refused to leave, soldiers presented an order declaring the area a closed military zone and apprehended two of them. Officers from the Ariel police station were dispatched, and the suspects were transferred there for questioning.
During the investigation, one suspect was also suspected of involvement in an incident approximately one week earlier in which he assaulted IDF soldiers, refused to leave the area and resisted the forces’ instructions.
After questioning, both suspects were brought before a court, which imposed restrictions prohibiting them from entering the closed military zone. Security authorities said they view attempts to harm security forces or violate lawful orders with severity and would not allow disturbances, harm to personnel or interference with their activities.
