Netanyahu accuses Ronen Bar over October 7 warnings: Addressing the October 7 attack, Netanyahu said: “The head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, received all the warnings, all the signals that were going off, the instructions for Hamas terrorists to gather at midnight in mosques in Gaza. He received many more warning signs and did nothing. Not only did this information not reach me, it didn’t even reach the forces in the Gaza border communities. Why didn’t he tell them? If he had simply told them, the whole thing could have been stopped”.
Netanyahu also rejected the claim of a warning from the UAE: “One lie was that there had supposedly been a warning from the UAE. Suddenly, it turns out there was no such warning. Nothing of the sort. The person who was supposedly the source of this story suddenly appears and says, ‘What are you talking about? I never said anything like that’”.
Netanyahu’s remarks on Jewish identity: Netanyahu said: “Without Jewish identity, we have no existence. What are we doing here? Are we going to become Denmark? Or Sweden? Sweden is already a country that is gradually becoming Islamized”.
Netanyahu demands investigation into “NZA” film: Netanyahu demanded that the IDF Chief of Staff, the Shin Bet head and the Attorney General conduct a comprehensive investigation and prosecute those involved in the film “NZA.”
⚠️ Smotrich attacks court review of refugee camp returns: Following the High Court of Justice’s demand that the IDF examine the possibility of accelerating residents’ return to refugee camps in Judea and Samaria, Smotrich issued the following statement:
“The three High Court justices—Amit, Stein, and Kabub—are endangering Israel’s security. These irresponsible judges, who understand absolutely nothing about security, are once again interfering, just as they did in Gaza before October 7, tying the IDF’s hands and personally enabling the rebuilding of Arab terrorist infrastructure in northern Samaria, which was dismantled by our heroic soldiers under our direction as the political leadership. And afterward, they will have the audacity to appoint the commission of inquiry that will investigate those responsible for the horrific massacre, when they themselves should be the first to be investigated. I call on the Prime Minister and my colleague, the Minister of Defense, to instruct the IDF not to cooperate with the court and not to allow the terrorist camps to be reestablished.”
E1 tender envelope opening postponed: Peace Now claimed that the Israel Land Authority postponed the E1 construction tender until after the elections, as demanded by the Attorney General. The accompanying account specifies that only the opening of the tender envelopes has been postponed. The matter awaits a High Court of Justice decision.
