đŻ Five Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists eliminated in Gaza: The IDF said a Sunday strike in Khan Younis eliminated three Islamic Jihad military-wing terrorists while they were meeting to advance attacks against IDF troops: Muhammad Abu Hajjaj, an engineering operative; Yousef Abu Razak, a deputy squad commander; and Abdelhamid Jadallah, a rocket array operative.
A second strike in southern Gaza on Monday eliminated Salah al-Din Iyad Abd al-Hamid and Izz al-Din Iyad Diab Barhoum, two Nukhba terrorists from the Rafah Brigade of Hamasâ military wing.
According to the IDF, the terrorists had recently advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and worked to restore Hamas and Islamic Jihad military capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire. The military said the aerial strikes were carried out to remove the threat.
đĄïž Israeli defense companies showcase field-proven technology at AUSA: Israelâs Defense Ministry and 19 leading Israeli defense companies will showcase operationally proven technologies at AUSA 2026 in Washington, D.C., this week. The ministryâs Defense Export Directorate, SIBAT, is leading the delegation at Israelâs national pavilion. Organized by the Association of the United States Army, AUSA is described as North Americaâs largest and most important land warfare exhibition.
Technologies include drone interception using nets, protection against GPS jamming that can be updated in the field within minutes, remote explosives detection using drones, and robots. Other systems include AI-based thermal technology for seeing in darkness, smoke and fog, hybrid engines that extend drone flight time, and flexible solar panels for charging equipment in the field.
The participation comes amid a Defense Ministry reform aimed at dramatically increasing Israeli defense exports, which the ministry says surpassed $19.2 billion in 2025.
SIBAT head Brig. Gen. (res.) Yair Kulas said the delegation reflects confidence in Israelâs defense industry and its value to the United States and other countries. Companies will meet with the U.S. military and its partners, present field-proven solutions and work with ministry officials to âturn this weekâs meetings into long-term cooperation.â
Kulas said the pavilion will feature established companies alongside small and medium-sized firms offering innovative solutions, supporting the ministryâs strategy to expand defense cooperation and strategic partnerships with the United States and other countries.
đ Saudi Arabia investigates Houthi attacks; Egypt pledges support: Saudi Arabia is investigating why its air defenses failed to stop Houthi drone and missile attacks on Riyadhâs King Khalid International Airport that killed at least 13 people and injured more than 300, AP reported. An initial investigation found that the Houthis used drones to clear the way for cruise and ballistic missiles.
According to AP, Riyadh is seeking greater U.S. military involvement against the Houthis, while Trump is considering strikes.
Egypt has pledged support for Saudi Arabia. “Whatever is being asked by the Saudis, of course we will respond. Without any reservation, we are providing all kinds of support,” Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is seeking U.S. mediation to persuade Saudi Arabia to allow IDF involvement in operations against the Houthis in Yemen, aiming to strengthen ties and pave the way for normalization. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has vetoed the proposal.
