Hamas commander and Islamic Jihad terrorist eliminated: The IDF said a strike in northern Gaza yesterday eliminated Mohammed Mohammed Abd al-Khalek Hala, a commander in the weapons production headquarters of Hamas’ military wing who infiltrated Israel and participated in the October 7 massacre. It said he helped produce weapons and advance Hamas’ military buildup across Gaza.
In a separate strike yesterday in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, the IDF eliminated Ahmad Jabrin Tawfiq Dalhan, a terrorist in Islamic Jihad’s military wing.
According to the IDF, both terrorists had recently advanced attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and attempted to restore their organizations’ capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire. The military said they were eliminated to remove the threats they posed.
️ Interceptor launched toward false target in Lebanon: An interceptor was launched last night toward a false target identified in an area of southern Lebanon where IDF soldiers are operating. No sirens sounded, in accordance with protocol.
Initial Ateret inquiry rules out terrorism: An initial inquiry into the incident in the Ateret area determined that it was not terror-related. The driver was transferred to security forces, and Judea and Samaria District Police officers opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

He said sidewalks and buses would not be segregated by gender. Where wanted, businesses would be able to open on Shabbat and public transportation would operate. The Western Wall would be a place for all streams of Judaism, and every community would be able to live in its own way, without others dictating how its members marry, travel or live.
“I am Jewish, Zionist and secular. I respect faith and tradition. I firmly oppose coercion,” Golan wrote. “You may be religious in our country. You may be secular in our country. You must be free in our country.”
He concluded: “P.S. Shabbat shalom.”
