️ LIEBERMAN AND GANTZ TRADE COALITION ACCUSATIONS

️ Lieberman accuses Eisenkot of preparing a Netanyahu deal: Yisrael Beiteinu chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman urged the four-party “bloc of those who serve” to focus on victory rather than another election. He said turnout mattered more than polls, predicting a decisive victory at 76% or higher, and urged voters to choose a bloc party they trust to maintain its positions and reject coalitions with Netanyahu, ultra-Orthodox or Arab parties.

Calling Gadi Eisenkot “Benny Gantz 2.0,” he accused him of a “largest party” campaign to take allies’ votes rather than attract opposing-bloc voters. He said it contradicted bloc leaders’ September 26 agreements, undermined unity and reflected preparations for post-election coalition talks.

He alleged Eisenkot wants to surpass Likud and negotiate a government with Netanyahu, Yitzhak Goldknopf and Aryeh Deri from strength, while retaining a minority-government option as leverage for the first term in a rotating premiership. He accused Eisenkot of trying to undermine him.

Lieberman cited Minister Miki Zohar’s comments on cooperation with Eisenkot, reports of a President Herzog initiative for a Netanyahu–Eisenkot government, unspecified White House briefings and Eisenkot associates’ positions on conscription and a constitution.

️ Lieberman’s service requirements and coalition red lines: He criticized Eisenkot’s description of Shas as “a party with very broad Zionist elements.” He said Eisenkot’s conscription plan would allow deferments for up to 3% of each annual draft cohort, about 4,500 students annually, with an administrative body deciding who qualifies as a Torah scholar. He argued this would preserve service exemptions.

Universal military service and a constitution were longstanding Yisrael Beiteinu principles, he said, recalling its refusal to join a coalition in 2019 over the conscription law despite political pressure and incentives. He denied these positions aimed to prevent an Eisenkot-led government and said they would stand after the election.

Since the October 7 massacre, he said, he has ruled out any coalition dependent on direct or indirect support from Ra’am or the Joint List.

He cited MK Ofer Cassif’s January 7, 2024, signature on a petition supporting South Africa’s case against Israel at the International Court of Justice, which Lieberman described as alleging genocide and crimes against humanity.

He cited an October 8, 2026, i24NEWS interview in which, according to his account, Ra’am MK Yasser Hujirat was asked whether Hamas is a terrorist organization and answered: “It is an organization, part of which is a charitable organization, and there is another part that is more responsible for obtaining the right to exist and the right to recognition as a state.”

Yisrael Beiteinu would not join a government relying on Cassif or Hujirat, he said.

Arguing that military experience cannot replace political experience, he cited Yigael Yadin, Ehud Barak, Benny Gantz and Rabin’s years before returning to the premiership after his first term.

After four years of the current government and a costly war on multiple fronts, he urged a solid majority for a liberal Zionist government prioritizing those who serve, work and shoulder the burden. He predicted victory on October 27.

️ Gantz counters with minority-government allegation: Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz said Lieberman, despite 30 years in politics, had accomplished less than 10% of what Gantz and Eisenkot had done for Israel.

He alleged Lieberman planned a minority government with Naftali Bennett and the Arab parties and was attacking others after Gantz exposed it. Accusing Lieberman of leading Israel into political deadlock, he called for a broad Zionist unity government crossing blocs, saying only Blue and White could deliver it.
