️ Shani Louk abduction cell member eliminated: The IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) announced the elimination of a Hamas military wing terrorist who infiltrated Israel on October 7, 2023, and participated in abducting the body of Shani Louk. He was identified as Tamer Muhammad Ibrahim al-Sabbagh, also named Tamer Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Zabaq in an IDF statement.
He was the last surviving member of the cell outside Israeli custody: three others were eliminated earlier in the war and one was captured. The strike took place in Jabalia, northern Gaza, but accounts differ on its timing, describing it as occurring yesterday and on Monday.
Louk, 22, had attended the Supernova music festival. Widely circulated photographs taken by AP freelance photographer Ali Mahmud showed her half-naked and face-down, described as unconscious, in the back of a pickup truck in Gaza carrying armed men. The military identified al-Sabbagh among those pictured.
According to the IDF and Shin Bet, he advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians throughout the war, including recently, and worked to rebuild Hamas’s military capabilities, “in systematic violation of the ceasefire,” the joint statement said. It said the aerial strike was intended to “remove the threat he posed.”
Senior Hamas security official eliminated: An intelligence-guided IDF and Shin Bet airstrike in Gaza City earlier today eliminated Akram Bassam Shaaban Yassin, identified as a senior official in Hamas’s General Security Mechanism.
According to the military, the covert apparatus protects senior Hamas officials, manages communications and meetings, and secures their movement between emergency facilities. It also prepares intelligence assessments, including information on security forces, “which assists the organization’s senior leadership in decision-making and in carrying out terror plots against the State of Israel,” the IDF said.
The military described the elimination as part of an “ongoing effort to target senior officials in the apparatus and weaken its capabilities in the Gaza Strip.” It follows Israeli Air Force and Navy strikes in June, approximately four months ago, that eliminated several senior commanders in the apparatus.
The IDF said Yassin recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and attempted to restore Hamas’s military capabilities in systematic violation of the ceasefire. It said the strike removed the threat he posed.
Nukhba terrorist linked to deadly tank attack eliminated: An IDF and Shin Bet airstrike in Gaza City on Sunday eliminated Musa Abd Muhammad Hamouda, a member of Hamas’s military wing and elite Nukhba Force. According to the military, he helped plan the September 8, 2025, explosive-device attack on a tank belonging to the 401st Armored Brigade’s 52nd Battalion.
The attack killed Lieutenant Matan Abramovitz, Staff Sergeant Uri Lemad, also rendered Lamed, Sergeant Amit Aryeh Regev and Sergeant Gadi Cotal. They were serving under the 162nd Division during Operation Gideon’s Chariots.
The military credited the division’s 215th Fire Brigade with eliminating Hamouda and described the strike as a significant milestone in holding those responsible for the soldiers’ deaths accountable.
According to the IDF, Hamouda repeatedly carried out terrorist activity against troops during the war. Recently, he advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and worked to restore Hamas’s military capabilities, “in systematic violation of the ceasefire.” The military said the airstrike removed the threat he posed.
