️ *BEN-GVIR EULOGIZES YUVAL SHAI SUILEM AS NETANYAHU MEETS POLICE CHIEF UNDER ELECTION LIMITS*

️ Ben-Gvir eulogizes Yuval Shai Suilem: National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir spoke at Suilem’s funeral today, describing parents who sent their son to the army and are now embracing his memory. “There are no words that can fill the void left in the family’s heart,” he said.

Recalling their meeting, Ben-Gvir described Yuval as warm, smiling and appreciative, honoring his sacrifice as part of generations defending the Jewish people. He called for tougher measures against terrorists and their families, said the government was working to tighten terrorists’ prison conditions, and argued for implementing emigration plans in Judea and Samaria to prevent those seeking to harm Israelis from endangering their security.

Addressing the family, he acknowledged that words could neither bring Yuval back nor erase their pain: “But know that Yuval will not be forgotten.” He said Yuval’s heroism, devotion and love for his people would remain part of the nation’s story.

️ Netanyahu meets police chief under election-related restrictions: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Police Commissioner Danny Levy and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir two days before Israel’s election, after Central Elections Committee chairman Justice Noam Solberg declined to block the meeting but barred political direction of police on election integrity or administration.

Reports that the discussion would concern election integrity prompted Gadi Eisenkot’s Yashar party to seek its cancellation, alleging it could lay the groundwork for disputing the results if Netanyahu’s coalition loses. Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara opposed political involvement in election matters under the committee’s authority. Likud denied that election integrity was on the agenda.

Netanyahu said the meeting followed Thursday’s security briefing, which Levy missed, concerning “dramatic and serious security warnings indicating that terrorist organizations intend to disrupt the elections or influence their course.” Likud said a committee representative was welcome to attend.

Solberg found insufficient evidence that the meeting itself constituted election interference. He permitted a general public-order briefing, recording Netanyahu’s assurance that election preparations and integrity would not be discussed. Solberg and committee officials were separately due to meet Levy Sunday evening about police election preparations.

The Netanyahu meeting has concluded. Levy said police were ready for terrorist incidents and public-order challenges. The Jerusalem Post reported that petitioner Bochrim BeYisrael subsequently requested reconsideration after learning the meeting would take place in person rather than by telephone, as originally presented.

️ Rabbi Sadan backs Winter despite Netanyahu visit: Despite a special visit by Netanyahu, Rabbi Eli Sadan expressed support for Ofer Winter: “I hope Ofer Winter passes the electoral threshold. Only if he does will Bibi have a right-wing government.”

In a recording, Sadan said he decided to remain silent when Netanyahu asked him to tell Winter to withdraw.
